Volunteer Work Abroad - Social Help in Mexico with Don Quijote

Country: Mexico

Program type: Social services/social work

Volunteer Work AbroadProgram Name: Social volunteer work abroad in Mexico

Organization: Don Quijote

Description: Don Quijote will find you volunteer work abroad in various social institutions. There is only one requirement: that you have an adequate level of Spanish for community service. To ensure this, and to help you adapt to this new situation, it is essential that you first follow a Spanish course with Don Quijote for at least 4 weeks. Throughout your period of voluntary work, Don Quijote will provide support and guidance.

Highlights: Your volunteer work abroad program will be split into two parts. During your first 4 weeks you will be taking a Spanish course to ensure you can be effective while working for these social institutions that Don Quijote will find for you. The other 4 weeks will be voluntary work itself where you will have a chance to work hands on alongside the locals thus learning Spanish and learning about a new culture! The program is available year around. The best part is  no matter how old you are, male, female, university student, or a retired professional - you can participate in volunteer work abroad at no restrictions whatsoever!

You will live with a family during the course, once you start the voluntary work you will decide whether to stay with the family or move to a different accomodation.

As a sign of Don Quijote's commitment to your voluntary organization, a donation is made when you take part in this program.
