Description: Nizhny Novgorod Summer Camp #77 is an educational institution that offers a unique voluntary program abroad opportunity for you to work with the students of 1-11 grades (7 to 18 age range) and take part in children’s daily life during the summer holidays. This is a great voluntary project during summer that will take place at school #77 in JUNE and arranges entertaining programs, games and classes. The school territory is equipped with new sports ground which is surrounded by trees and lively flowerbeds which the children grow themselves. This is a good opportunity to spend this blooming time of the year with the children who are always waiting for your care and attention and who always have an unquenchable spirit of adventure! So if you've got nothing planned this summer, why not volunteer abroad in Russia and have fun with the kids!
Requirements and Qualifications: A key trait for international volunteers in this project is to have patience, creativity, and energy to play with the children. Enthusiasm and initiative are also important to success in the classroom

Languages: Basic Russian is welcomed, but if you have never studied Russian there is an opportunity to take a course of basic Russian before the start of your program abroad. Please let us know in advance, so we could arrange this course for you. An additional fee applies.

Pay/Compensation: Make a difference in children's life, enjoy volunteering and learning about Russian culture; gain teaching experience; expand your creative skills.
Type of work/duties: According to your choice you may work with large or small groups of the children. You can organize and take part in sports competitions from football to chess, different concerts and parties in which the children will display their talents. Besides that you can teach them English and so they won’t only have fun, but they'll also benefit from the activity. You will take part in cleaning days which to make the territory look prettier.

* 15 hours of Russian classes (the special training if you never learnt Russian is not included in this part if the program, you will need to make a request of this course;)
* Placement in the school, organization of the meeting with the School's Principal;

Living Specifications: We can offer you two types of accommodation here in Nizhny Novgorod. You can stay with one of our selected host families or rent a place to stay. We will be in touch with our interns and your host family during your stay to make sure that you both have a mutually rewarding home stay experience. This is an amazing opportunity for you to practice your Russian and get a deeper feel of the Russian culture and Nizhny Novgorod. But, in case you prefer to live independently we can assist you on renting a good apartment or booking a small hotel with easy access to the project you will work at and to public transportation. The prices and payments schedules may vary from one type of accommodation to another.
