Program Name: Sports Coaching-Volunteer Abroad in Kenya with El Ghana
Overview: Kenya, the “Jewel of East Africa,” is a costal country that attracts many tourists every year for a variety of reasons. Kenya has some of the best beaches, rainforests and wildlife found on the entire continent. Filled with adventure and new opportunities, Kenya will offer any intern or volunteer abroad participant the experience of a lifetime!
El Ghana works hard toward improving living and health conditions in Kenya, as well as the improvement of general quality of life in rural communities. If you feel like you could offer your talents and skills to help revitalize the health system in Kenya, then this volunteer abroad program can help you make a difference in people’s lives!
Sports Coaching: If you have love for sports and have what it takes to help young men and women develop their athletic skills, then this volunteer abroad program is for you! The program gives international volunteers the opportunity to coach sports such as soccer, football, basketball, netball and volleyball. Volunteer abroad program members will assist with training drills, coordination skills, athletic development, and will organize competitions among participating youth.
Volunteer abroad participants not only gain the physical and mental benefits of athletic activity, but will also learn more about teamwork, discipline, ethics, and communication. With your sports knowledge and enthusiasm, you can inspire players to believe in themselves and encourage healthy outlets. El Ghana wants to help volunteering abroad individuals like you improve the recreation lifestyles of Kenyan citizens!
Dates: Open year-round.
Accommodations: Volunteers abroad will stay with Host families
Requirements: 18 years old. Enthusiasm and willing to help.
