Program Name: Orphanage Assistance - Volunteer Abroad in Kenya with El Ghana
Overview: Kenya, the “Jewel of East Africa,” is a costal country that attracts many tourists every year for a variety of reasons. Kenya has some of the best beaches, rainforests and wildlife found on the entire continent. Filled with adventure and new opportunities, Kenya will offer any intern or volunteer abroad participant the experience of a lifetime!
El Ghana works hard toward improving living and health conditions in Kenya, as well as the improvement of general quality of life in rural communities. If you feel like you could offer your talents and skills to help revitalize the health system in Kenya, then this volunteer abroad program can help you make a difference in people’s lives!
Orphanage Assistance: The Orphanage Assistance volunteer abroad program has been one of the most popular among our participants. One of the main goals of this volunteer abroad program is to create a positive learning environment for orphans in Kenya. Volunteers abroad are responsible to create the want and excitement to learn in orphans so that they can excel in the future.
Orphanages are unable to provide proper education and encouragement to the orphans due to lack of funding. El Ghana volunteer abroad participants work with children who do not have the opportunity for a lot of interaction with others. These children are many times forgotten and require proper love and care. El Ghana volunteers abroad become a part of these children’s lives and are not soon forgotten. Our volunteers working abroad are extremely involved in many educational activities such as teaching English abroad, music, sports, and dance. Volunteer abroad participants in Kenya leave their program changed for a lifetime! International volunteers also leave a lifetime positive impact on the children. International volunteers are highly valued resources because they possess knowledge and expertise that can be shared with local communities.
