Program Name: Orphanage Assistance - Volunteer Abroad in Ghana with El Ghana
Overview: The country of Ghana, located on the coast of West Africa, contains an array of natural resources, languages, religion, and cultures. In Ghana, volunteers abroad have the chance to learn about developing countries and how they deal with their struggles. Despite its problems, Ghana is a great destination for studying or internships abroad because of its stable economy and government.
El Ghana works on developing the social and economic aspects of Ghana’s communities, this is why they need volunteers abroad like you! International volunteers diligently work to assist underprivileged people in Ghana by assisting those in need and trying to improve their lives in any way possible.
El Ghana offers several volunteer abroad programs programs to choose from, including Healthcare Assistance, Orphanage Assistance Abroad, HIV/AIDS Assistance, as well as coaching, teaching, and disability training and rehabilitation El Ghana. Even if none of these falls under one of your categories of interest, please feel free to ask about other fields. We want to pair you with the volunteer work abroad that best utilizes your skills.
Description: Orphans are often forgotten members of the community and not always receive the love and attention. However, it is wonderful to know that the Orphanage Assistance volunteer abroad program is one of the most popular. International volunteers will work with orphans, cultivating interests in learning and providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere for these children. Many of the children feel strong bonds toward international volunteers because of the attention they give and the care they show to the children. While this is a wonderful and amazing event, it can also be difficult.
A solid education is needed to secure a promising future, and volunteers abroad are directly responsible for teaching the children a variety of subjects, including teaching English abroad, sports and other recreational activities, dance, and music. International volunteers will also be in charge of other duties, such as cooking, supervising and assisting on field trips, and administrative work abroad. Because volunteers have so many opportunities to interact with the orphans, strong connections are made. When some volunteers that have been abroad, return home, they collect money and other donations to send to their former charges in Ghana. International Volunteers in this country are invaluable because of their knowledge; while much of their knowledge is bestowed upon the children, they also have opportunities to converse with the local community about potential improvements and plans for the future.
