Program Name: AIDS Assistance - Volunteer Abroad in Ghana with El Ghana
Overview: The country of Ghana, located on the coast of West Africa, contains an array of natural resources, languages, religion, and cultures. In Ghana, volunteers abroad have the chance to learn about developing countries and how they deal with their struggles. Despite its problems, Ghana is a great destination for studying or internships abroad because of its stable economy and government.
El Ghana works on developing the social and economic aspects of Ghana’s communities, this is why they need volunteers abroad like you! volunteers abroad diligently work abroad to assist underprivileged people in Ghana by assisting those in need and trying to improve their lives in any way possible.
El Ghana offers several volunteer abroad programs programs to choose from, including Healthcare Assistance, Orphanage Assistance Abroad, HIV/AIDS Assistance, as well as coaching, teaching, and disability training and rehabilitation programs abroad. Even if none of these falls under one of your categories of interest, please feel free to ask about other fields. We want to pair you with the voluntary work abroad that best utilizes your skills.
HIV/AIDS Education Volunteer Abroad: AIDS affects millions of people around the world, but Africa has been struck particularly hard. As a part of Africa, Ghana has not been immune to the AIDS epidemic. Infection rate continue to rise, despite effort put forth to educate people about protection methods. Every facet of daily life is affected, from education to work force efficiency, from food production to family life. As an international volunteer abroad for the AIDS Assistance program, you will help those already effected by AIDS and continue to educate others regarding cautions that can be taken so they too do not contract this disease. This is not a hopeless battle; with your volunteer abroad help, El Ghana can carry on the war against this fatal disease.

Requirements: 18 years old. Enthusiasm and willing to help.
