Description: Volunteer Abroad at Women’s Shelter in Ecuador. This volunteer abroad program is aimed at helping refugee women and their children that have suffered domestic vilence. Refugee Center offers shelter, some food, medical services, and emotional support for the refugees. There are also a variety of different classes and counseling services to help women increase self-esteem, overcome the print marks of domestic violence. This volunteer abroad program is perfect for you if you want to be a social worker, or pursue a degree in psychology or social sciences.
