Description: Through the combined language and internship program, the aim is to promote acquisition of high-level Spanish language skills and to provide candidates with professional working abroad experience whilst fully immersed in a Spanish-speaking environment. Also, it is of vital importance to provide students with the most realistic experience possible. Entrance requirements are high and each step is competitive with high levels of performance expected. There is no doubt that this international internship will equip you with skills needed to advance in your career. Not only it will develop you professionally, but it will also equip you with personal strength.
Don Quijote will be with you every step of the way: you will have weekly meetings with the internship team from the first week you arrive to ascertain your preferred area of interest for your internship, help with writing your Spanish CV, and arranging mock interviews. You can choose structured internship placements from a wide variety of areas.
Highlights: The first part of the Program is a minimum of 4 weeks of intensive Spanish language at any don Quijote school. To participate in the internship, you should have an advanced level of Spanish upon completing the minimum 4-week intensive language course.
The second part is the international internship placement itself. During this time a student will receive proper training and will work in a real business setting. This work experience is unpaid, and lasts for 3 months in your chosen sector, either in Madrid, Barcelona, Salamanca or Seville.
