Editorial internship abroad in China

Program Name: Editorial Internship-Intern Abroad in China

Overview: Spanning much of Asia, the People's Republic of China is a huge, highly-populated nation with an influential culture and an incomparable variety of landscapes and natural beauty. Bordering Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and India, one can find both deserts and wetlands, coasts and forests, and in the West, even the edge of the Himalayas. China is home to 1.3 billion people, many of whom reside in huge, bustling metropolises such as Shanghai and Beijing. No matter one's personal tastes, one can find it all in China, whether it be solitude in the misty mountains, relaxation along the sandy shore, or the excitement of  nonstop city action. An internship overseas is the perfect opportunity to experience all of these things.

A remarkable country with an exceptionally lengthy history, China has undergone its share of upheavals and political turmoil. The Communist Revolution of 1949 was one such event, and since then China has experienced many radical changes. Although the revolution brought on many hardships, conditions since then have greatly improved. With vast social and economic reform over the decades, China has been able to dramatically enhance the standard of living for its citizens.

Interning abroad delivers a unique cultural experience in a completely novel setting. An internship overseas in China would allow you the opportunity not only to soak in the culture, but to perhaps experience the monumental wonder that is the Great Wall, visit the Forbidden City, bask in the beauty of the countryside, and whatever else strikes your fancy. The possibilities are practically endless. You have the opportunity to shape your internship abroad into the ideal experience.
