Accra also has a vivid night scene, with many international style pubs and bars.
The city is home to Osu Castle, built by the Danes in the 1800s, and the Accra Sports Stadium, home to the Accra Heart’s of Oak football team.
There are two universities in the Accra area- both the University of Ghana and Ashesi University. Many international students studying abroad attend the University of Ghana, and are able to call the beautiful Accra home for at least a semester.
Bojo Beach
While the busy city life of Accra is exciting, it is nice to escape for a time of peace and tranquility. Where better than the beautiful white sands of Bojo Beach?
